Getting So Big!

Sorry I haven't updated the blog lately! Things have been busy at home and work and I just haven't had a chance to post anything.

The little man has gotten so big and has changed so much lately! He is doing fabulously with his foods. He loves sweet potatoes, apples, bananas and avocado. He also likes butternut squash, pears and occasionally zucchini. He is NOT a fan of peas and summer squash. I think I will try the summer squash again, the first attempt was a bit too runny so if i can make it a bit thicker I think it will be okay. The peas are a horrible texture so I am not sure what to do with those. Green beans and peaches are up next to try in the next couple of weeks.

He has now gotten so big and good at sitting that he is able to sit in high chairs at restaurants and in the grocery cart at the store. We bought him a "big boy" car seat so he is sitting more up right in the car and gets carried in and out of the car now instead of getting packed into the infant carrier. I think he likes this so much better. He has also out grown this infant tub and is using his bath ring in the big bath tub. We will have a lot to sell at the yard sale this spring and mommy has moments of sadness at how fast he is growing but it is exciting to see him develop and learn new things. I will post separate blogs on some specifics like his attempt at crawling.

Here are some pictures of our big boy:

First time riding in the grocery cart like a big boy!

Trying out the new car seat! It makes his look so big and so little at the same time.

Eating! He does a great job of eating and of making a complete mess.

Sissy put this hat on me and now Mommy is going to post it to the blog so everyone can  see how silly I look!

The "month" picture but this picture is getting harder and harder to capture since he hates laying down so who knows if we will make it to 12 months or not!

Such a big boy in the tub now!

Loves his bath toys!

Out to dinner with the family. He actually behaves really well so that makes things nice.

First measurement on sissy's chart!
