The video I tried to post of him crawling a couple of weeks ago was too big so here is another one from a few days ago. He just wanted to play so I moved him away from his toys to get him to crawl back to them but you can see how he is getting the hang of it. The bad news is that now he will crawl until he can get something to pull up on and up he goes. He can go from crawling or sitting to standing in no time and has gotten better about balancing himself and learning to move around holding onto things. So mommy fears that walking is getting closer and closer by the minute.
He is doing extremely well with eating, to the extent that he could care less about his bottle. Since he still needs quite a bit of his formula each day we are having to try new ways to get him to take it. The nurse at our doctor's office suggested a sippy cup so I handed him one the other day just to see what he would do with it. This is what he did:
He also has really gotten interested in books and loves it when you read to him. Nana and Poppy got him a new book for Valentine's Day and he loved it!
And sissy beware, he is already getting into Reagan's stuff. She has a beaded curtain type thing hanging in her doorway that she got for Christmas from my sister and loves. Alex also loves the beads but doesn't understand to be gentle so he can't play with them. Mommy was also getting sissy's baking supplies out for her so she could go to GQ's Sunday afternoon to learn to bake a pie. Alex decided he wanted to check everything out:
I also had to share a couple of bath time pictures from the other night. If these don't scream blackmail one day, I don't know what does. :)
He is just such a big boy!!!
