Bathtub Antics...

One last post for the day but this one was too funny not to share. Last week we had entertainment during Alex's bath time. Thursday night I decided to put Alex in his bath ring rather than his infant tub. With the infant tub, you only fill it with water but with the ring you fill the whole tub. I guess I should have tried to explain this to Lexi. She has always been very curious about bath time but has never tried to jump in. Any other night she would have been fine because the tub would have been dry. However she decided to give it a try the night I used the ring and had the tub filled. Before I knew what was going on, she was up and over the edge of the tub and into the water. She quickly decided she didn't want to be in there and tried every way to get out except back over the edge. She she was sliding and trying to climb up the walls. Alex and I just sat there dumbstruck for a minute in shock at what we were seeing. I finally grabbed her and a towel and rescued her. I toweled her off as best as I could but she was ready to get out of that bathroom. I just didn't want water all over the house. Needless to say, that was one of the more entertaining bath times we have had in a while!
