Such a Silly Boy!

Alex is always doing something silly. Sometimes I catch them on camera, most of the time I don't. But here is a particularly funny video. He had wondered into the kitchen on his own and we heard him in there laughing up a storm. We sneaked in to see what he was doing and found him in the floor with 2 of the bolts and nuts from his tool bench. He was setting them up and blowing them over thinking it was hilarious. I have no idea why, but I can't explain most of the things he does. 

Dog! Cow Goes Moo!

Alex and I were reading during bath time last week and I was able to catch a little of it on video before he realized it and quit being cute...

He shows me the dog and then points to the cow, says "cow" and says moo. So smart!

Getting SO SO Big!!

It seems like every day Alex is trying new foods, some he is a fan of and some, not so much. The most recent new food is probably salad, with ranch dressing of course (like sissy and mommy). Surprisingly he LOVES it. He asked for a bite of Mimi's salad a couple of weeks ago and we all waited for it to be immediately spit out but not only did he eat it but ended up eating about half of her salad. Of course I need to note that it was a Lexintonian salad from Harry's so how could he not love the best salad ever? But Monday night he asked for a bite of Nana's salad at The Ketch and again ate several bites. 

He also got to try some chocolate pudding last weekend which of course was a huge hit and a huge mess. :)

Last Wednesday Alex and I had a small mommy/son date night hitting Lexington for some shopping and dinner. We stopped at Chick-fil-A for dinner and it really hit me hard how big he is getting. He ate a full kid's meal - the bigger one, 6 pieces of grilled chicken, applesauce and milk and even a couple of my fries. Look how big he is now:
