Easter Fun...

For Alex's first Easter I bought him and Matt matching ties. Reagan went shopping with Nana and Poppy for her Easter outfit because that is tradition. We got up on Easter morning and headed to Frankfort for church with my family. After the service they do an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Matt spotted some really cute rabbit ears and Alex actually wore them for the rest of the hunt. After church we go to Matt's dad's for lunch. Unfortunately Alex slept through the entire time we were there.

We also took Alex to Lexington Green for pictures with the Easter bunny Saturday night. I know daddy was just humoring mommy since Alex won't remember it, but the pictures were really cute and they even had real bunnies as well as the traditional Easter bunny. Strangely Alex was more unsure about the real bunny, whose name was also Alex, than he was the big costumed bunny. He actually didn't mind the big one at all and even tried to bite his nose.
