This "winter" has been the craziest I can remember. I had bought Alex a snow suit back in early November because who would have thought he wouldn't get snow. Even if we didn't get a big one, we typically get a few small snows throughout winter. This year we did not. So after it snowed the 3-4 inches last Monday I had to get Alex out in his suit and snap some pictures because I fear it may be the only snow we get.

Our snow angel. The suit was so bulky he had trouble sitting up and tumbled! |

It's hard to tell but he is putting his fingers in the snow in this picture. He would make this face and giggle. |
Just for future readings I want to recap the weather we have had the past few weeks. The week of February 26 - March 3 was a warm one. Temperatures in the 70s. But that warm weather brought threats of sever weather twice that week and tornadoes in parts of Kentucky. That Friday, the 2nd, we were under extremely severe weather warnings and found ourselves hanging out in Kathy's basement after work listening to the sirens going off and watching Bill Meck keep us updated. Thankfully we did not have any tornadoes but several parts of Kentucky did and people are still recovering. Less than 72 hours later we woke up to 3-4 inches of snow on Monday morning. Tuesday brought us 60s and the snow was completely gone by Wednesday. This week we are hitting record temps in the 80s. Kentucky weather has been so strange this year!
